New Gundam Anime Series on the way!

As I am a big fan of Mecha/Robot, I recently found out that there are a new version of Gundam anime, called "Gundam 00". The first season (25 episodes) is still in production and being air in Japan. This is the new release from Sunrise.

If you want to know more about this new Gundam Anime series, please check it out at wikipedia - (WARNING: SPOILER might be in the link!)

I just watched the first 3 episodes, and below is my opinions of the Anime:
1. Similarity with Gundam Wing
2. Graphics is really good, better than Gundam Wing (I only watch "Gundam", the original TV series, "Gundam Seed Destiny" and "Gundam Wing"
3. There seem to be a good story line (but need to see, I still prefer the story line in Gundam Wing)

Not sure when will this new anime complete ..... just hate to wait .... :D

I LOVE ANIME

So far, I have just give synopsis about the Anime I either watched or bought ..... mostly bought but not watch yet :D

But I think I should also give some review or comments on the anime I had watched - but this is going to wait till next year (just a few more days :P)

Anyway, I first started to watch anime back in my childhood days when I was still about 5/6/7 years old. I can't remember the first anime I watched or followed, but I do remember what I told my mom - "I rather watch TV (at that time, only know is cartoon, but in fact most of them is Anime), then go for tuisyen!"

I believe the first Anime which I follow and watch it till the end and still in love with it is ........... Macross Saga.

I watched the first Season - Macross SDF-1, and Robotech (or some called it Mospeada, which is third in the Macross Saga), but I skipped the Robotech Master (this is the 2nd)! And now, I got a full series of it, a total of 85 episodes!!!
There is a few more spin-off from the Macross, which is Macross Zero (time before Macross SDF-1) and also Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles (after the Robotech aka Mospeada)!

Sounds interesting? Of course... especially if you are on the tight budget to source for the suitable X'Mas present, or as your own collection at the marginal budget!

Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge/The Wallflower Complete DVD

The Wallflower is about Sunako Nakahara, a girl who was called "ugly" by a boy, the first and only person to whom she confessed her love. This incident sparks a life change, and as a result Sunako shuns all forms of beauty, both in herself as well as in life. Concerned by her change for the worst, Sunako's aunt, the owner of a beautiful mansion where four very handsome students live, offers the guys free rent in her mansion if they can turn Sunako into a "perfect lady"

While the four of them manage to make Sunako physically beautiful enough to become a lady, the problem lies with her attitude and interests (which Sunako has no intention of changing). Up until the most recent release in the story, they've managed to convince Sunako's aunt that her niece is indeed a lady befitting the mansion in which they live (and prevent the rent from skyrocketing to triple the required amount). However, in reality, Sunako has not changed considerably.

Series of Transformers which you cant miss!!!

1. Transformers Armada

Transformers: Armada follows the latest battle in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons as the two sides race to gain the allegiance of a newly discovered race of Transformers known as Mini-Cons. Set in the year 2010 it features old favourites like Megatron and Optimus Prime.

Much smaller than either the regular Transformers, the Mini-Cons can connect to their large counterparts granting them new abilities. Each Mini-Con enhances the power of a Transformer exponentially. If Megatron and the Decepticons collect all the Mini-Cons, Megatron will rule the universe. Our only chance for a peaceful cosmos is for Optimus Prime and the Autobots to defeat their enemies and free all Mini-Cons. But the Transformer God of Choas, Unicron plans to re-collect them all and then absorb them since they are his cells and rule the universe forever.

2. Transformers Superlink (Energon)

Transformers: Energon, known in Japan as Transformer: Superlink , is the 2004-2005 Transformers toyline, animated series and comic book series, another co-production between Has bro and Takara and a direct sequel to Transformers: Armada. It is also the first Japanese TF show where the Transformers are CG, (computer-generated, in a cel-shaded technique similar to the Ziods anime) which was a trend that would continue into the next series, Transformers: Cybertron In this series the Transformer's big gimmicks are the Autobots' ability to combine with partners of the same size, the Decepticons' ability to use powered up forms, and the addition of Energon weapons and stars that can be placed on any Transformer. Mini-Cons, from the previous line, are still present, but all Mini-Con pegs are "dead," and do not activate a function on the toy.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a race to prove mental superiority between the two begins.

3. Transformers Season Two

With the series having proved a great success, the second season was created with the intent of getting the series into syndication, and hence consisted of a mammoth 49 episodes, bringing the total produced up to the required number of 65. Whereas the first season had functioned episodically, but also had a general continuity to its episodes, requiring that they be viewed in a certain order, Season 2 and its syndication goals saw this method of storytelling dropped in favor of single-episode tales mostly without lasting repercussions, which could hence be generally watched in any order that networks chose to air them in. These episodes often served to spotlight single characters and flesh them out more, and Season 2 certainly needed that, given that it introduced a slew of new troops - although this was one of the stranger things the cartoon added, as it offered no explanation for where any of these new characters came from.

World of Ghibli Studio Collection

1. Castle in the Sky (Laputa)

The film opens with a brief scene (detailed below) in which Sheeta, the heroine of the story, falls from a giant airship. This is followed by the title and opening credits, in which the Legend of Laputa is told through a series of short animations.

According to the legend, man was fascinated with the sky. Humans created increasingingly sophisticated modes of transportation, ranging from small aircraft to huge airships, employing many different means of levitating the craft from the ground. This eventually led to flying cities and fortresses, and soon, the skies were filled with such cities. Over time, the cities came crashing back to the ground, forcing the survivors to live on the ground once again.

One city, Laputa, is said to remain in the sky, concealed within the swirling clouds of a violent thumderstorm known as the Dragon's Nest. While most people consider it to be a myth, some believe the legend is true and have sought to find the ancient city.

1. Tales from Earthsea -the latest long awaited production by Ghibli Studio

Enter a dark, magical world of dragons and sorcery in Studio Ghibli's blockbuster animated epic Tales from Earthsea. Adapted from Ursula K. Le Guin's beloved children's fantasy book series, Tales from Earthsea marks the phenomenal directorial debut of Miyazaki Goro, the son of the legendary Miyazaki Hayao. Complex and compelling, Tales from Earthsea presents a sweeping, fantastical story about a young prince's journey through darkness and redemption.

A mysterious force is disturbing the natural balance in the land of Earthsea. Dragons are feuding, magic is dying, and the whole of humanity is falling into chaos. Haunted by inner demons, Prince Arren (voiced by Okada Junichi) stabs his father and runs away with the king's sword. He finds friendship and protection with kind-hearted master wizard Ged and a strange young girl named Therru. A shadow, however, continues to haunt Arren, drawing him to the evil sorcerer Cob whose quest for immortality is destroying the balance between the realm of the living and dead. To save Earthsea, Arren must stop Cob, but he himself is falling into darkness.

More overtly dark in theme than previous Ghibli works, Tales from Earthsea is certainly equally amazing in terms of animation and design. Grand castles, medieval towns, stretching deserts, raging oceans, and idyllic countrysides vibrantly come alive on screen in rich strokes and seas of aqua and crimson. The release of a Studio Ghibli film is always a big event in Japan, and Tales of Earthsea was no exception. The film topped the box office for four weeks and earned over $60 million overall, proving that the apple does not fall far from the tree.
